The outdoor half is the part your neighbours see and the part most installers put wherever the pipe run is shortest. Where it goes is decided at the survey, with you, and the noise calculation is run against your actual boundary before anything is fixed to a wall.
Buying this without us visiting first
It is a fair thing to hesitate over, so here is exactly what protects you.
If your property isn't standard
- We tell you before any work starts, never after
- You get the difference quoted in writing, and can accept or cancel
- If you cancel at that point you are refunded in full, including the survey
- We never revise a price once the placement is agreed
Your right to change your mind
- 14 days to cancel from the day you order, no reason needed
- Full refund, provided installation hasn't started
- We only start inside 14 days if you ask us to in writing
- Cancel any time before the placement is signed off
What happens next
In order, with a date attached to each. Nothing is ordered or drilled until you have signed off where it goes.
We check it will actually work
Within two working days we run the pre-install survey — sizing confirmed, and the MCS 020(a) noise calculation that your permitted development rights depend on. Usually remote, from photos and your address. Occasionally we need to visit, and that is still included.
You agree where it goes
You get the Room Study — your actual room with the unit drawn at actual scale, two or three placement options, and how the pipework routes to each. You choose. Nothing is ordered or drilled until you have signed it off.
You pick a date, and we keep it
Once the placement is agreed you choose an install date and we confirm it. One day for a single room, two for a multi-split.
